Election Commission of India is busy conducting elections in various legislative councils throughout India. Well, ECI had announced bye elections to Karnataka Legislative Council and now it is turn of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council. For this reason Indian Election Commission released notification of election dates of UP bye elections recently.
UP bye elections to be held
ECI decided election of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council (bye elections) to be done by Members of Legislative Assembly. This elections are for four casual vacancies which are in State Legislative Council of UP or Uttar Pradesh.

Reason for bye elections to Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council
Decision on this sudden elections happened because some of the sitting members of UP Legislative Council resigned. You can also have a look at the members who have resigned from Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council below –
